Digitaria presented a collection through a very interesting art event during 4FASHIONSHAKE DAYS.. Installations took place in the neoclassical art space Kunsthalle Athena where the models were hidden in "cocoons" all over the place and slowly came out of them revealing the clothes.. It was a great combination of fashion with art!

This is an outfit I had chosen for AXDW.. I had these electric blue jeans in my closet for pretty much two years but I had never worn them until now.. Since colored pants are a hot trend for the season I decided that it's the perfect time to unhooked them from the hanger.. What do you think?

Empire awarded as the Best Designer at AXDW.. It was a nice show with wearable clothes.. I really want/need the whole last outfit.. So perfect combination of colors, materials and textures!!

Corbo won the Best Trend-setter Award at AXDW and I couldn't agree more.. From all new designers it was the only show that suggested a trend.. It was all about being comfortable in style.. Also the colors matched amazingly together with the bright orange to stand out.. Indeed it reminded me ZARA's lookbook but in a good way.. If a new designer wants to create a more wearable collection and still has style and a great point of view I'm totally ok with that.. On balance, this show lived up to my expectations! Great job!

This show was the first attempt by Vasia Kont as a designer and it was quite nice but I would like to see more than bodies by her in the future.. She seems to have talent and potentials to become a successful designer, so it would be great if she try some more difficult patrons in her next show..

Konstantina is very talented and designs clothes with strong personality.. Her first collection at AXDW was very dynamic and very promising about her route in the fashion industry.. I really like the leather outfits with the little rollers, but I'm not so into styling.. The mix of futuristic style with Africa inspired make up is not my favorite.. But, anyway, it was a great show and she deserves great praise!

Ourania is definitely a person full of passion.. She loves what she's doing and this is why her collections are so strong.. This "chapter" was a nice sequel of her first collection.. Illusions were the main concept of the show and she used stretch, shiny and transparent fabrics for silhouettes with volume and shapes.. The styling was amazing and the whole feeling was so futuristic that you could think the models were from another galaxy..

aRTe fw 11/12

Nadia Rapti and Teknio Kerasioti have already introduced their work at Greek Fashion Week last October but yesterday at AXDW it was their first collection which was inspired by military elements.. They used nice fabrics in great designs and the basic colors were black, grey and khaki.. Also, they presented some awesome menswear.. I really can't wait to see their next collection because it's a name to remember!

stelios koudounaris fw 11/12

Today was the first day of Athens Xclusive Designer Week and it couldn't be more sensational.. I attended Miltos, Chara Lebessi and Antoine Antoniadis shows, but the one that impressed me most was Stelios Koudounaris.. I couldn't take my eyes off the runway.. Those clothes were edgy and sexy, yet minimal.. I'd gladly wear every single piece of this collection..

let' s talk about toi&moi

In my last post I let you guess what my visit at Toi&Moi showroom was about.. Today it's time to reveal the secret.. Sooo.. I was asked to be filmed in a short video and talk about the Spring / Summer collection and analyze the trends.. I searched every single hanger there with the whole new collection and to be honest it was quite difficult for me to choose between all these amazing pieces.. Really guys.. Some pieces are stuck in my mind, as well as in my wish list.. Hope you'll like the video (there are two: one in English and one in Greek) and let me know what you think!

masquerade

I have to confess I'm not so into carnival.. Actually every year it goes through my mind 

what to dress myself up but never ends up in a costume.. I hadn't dressed up for years.. 

This year a friend of mine dropped the idea of hosting a masquerade party and all I had 

to do was to start looking for a costume.. At first I was thinking of making a dress by 

myself but I quit of the idea quickly as the days were passing.. So this is what I wore..

Not anything tricky.. Not over stylized.. Inspired by Topshop Unique AW11 collection..

Note to myself: Next year I'll come up with something more dramatic! (I kinda like it.. shh)
